The Eden Singers in Concert for Rebuilding Schools Nepal

We are delighted that the Eden Singers will be performing a concert at 7.30pm on Saturday 8th October at The Church of All Souls, Astley St, Bolton BL1 8EY. The church is re-furbished with cabaret tables and a bar so you can enjoy a relaxed evening with friends. Tickets are £7.50 each. If you would like tickets please phone 07711 203 764. Coast to Coast cycle team raise over £6,000!

A team of cyclists led by Liam Brady from Manchester City Council along with friends and colleagues set off from Whitehaven on Friday 29th July to cycle to Tynemouth on the gruelling Coast to Coast cycle route, all raising money to support Rebuilding Schools Nepal.

Making a difference

In April our partner charity DCWC were able to visit the school and agree finances from funds raised to purchase stationary for the children and 600m of pipe to re-establish the drinking water supply at the school. Following the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge which raised over £4,500 we have now been able to commission compost toilets at the school and turn our fundraising attention to the new build.

Coast to Coast Cycle Ride 29th - 31st July 2016

We are delighted to have an intrepid team training now for the 140 mile 3 day Coast to Coast Cycle Ride from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Tynemouth in Tyne and Wear. The team are training hard and will be cycling across the Lake District, Eden Valley and Northern Pennines with overnight stops in Penrith and Consett.

Three Peaks Yorkshire Challenge

Our next fundraising challenge is to conquer the 3 Yorkshire Peaks. and we are grateful to colleagues from the Department for Education Manchester site office for their continued support having already raised over £1000.00 for the school in the last 12 months.
